THE 39 ARTICLES
The Anglican distinctive of our faith in Jesus is described by a set of statements first articulated at the time of the Reformation, and carried down to the present day. It is known as the 39 Articles of Religion. They are a good summary of the Anglican approach to the Christian faith. They do not supplant the scriptures, but rather are an articulation of the principles of scripture applicable to our situation and how our church is run today.
